Sandry had been lost in thought, idly observing the girls sitting around her while fingering a piece of thread she'd found in her apron pocket. When she heard her name called, her attention shifted to the girl sitting directly across from her.

"Oh. Yes, I'm Sandry. What is your name?" She seemed genuinely interested in this pretty girl.

"Rachel!" Then, after a beat:

"Gosh, is it ever nice to be around so many girls of my status after so long!"

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Sandry smiled after that last comment, taking it in. So it seems she's one of those types of nobles? "If you don't mind my asking, why were you away?"

"Oh, of course not. I was away on some ridiculous trip that my father insisted we go on. Jeez oh man, was it ever awful! We had to stay in a hut, you can't even imagine." She said, shaking her head, as if in denial it had ever happened.

"Oh! Traveling sounds lovely, actually. Though whyever would would you stay in a hut?" Sandry's curiosity got the better of her, and she leaned over the table to get closer.

"Travelling would be nice if it was to somewhere I actually wanted to go! Ugh. We had to, Dad sent us all to this god forsaken village straight in the middle of Africa." She said, liking the attention she was getting from this girl.

"I haven't travelled much, to be honest. I'd love a chance to go somewhere. Perhaps he wanted you to experience something different, taking you there?" Sandry was curious, imagining visiting Africa herself someday.
