I've ripped my fingers apart getting a computer into a new case (much more work than simply assembling a new one) only to find the last bits I was securing (power supply and optical drives) were non-standard. So it's pretty much a wash, and I've loaded it all back into my old case.
The plan fell apart at stage one anyhow, when it turned out to be just as long as my old case (I was trying to get it into a smaller one for future plane trips)
Now I'm bleeding all over the place.
I wish my paint was here, I could fix the view out the window (a brick wall two feet away)
