House Journal Days 30-31
Sunday Erin and I slept in late and made our way out the house in the late morning. We were both pretty beat from the day before so we decided it would be a short day. Erin cleaned and sealed the slate, and I cut a few tiles for a few areas that we hadn't yet tiled. Then we cleaned up, threw some stuff in the dumpster and took the rest of the day off.
Yesterday I headed out after work. I had a coupon for a free sub from Quiznos which provided my dinner for the evening.
After a bite for dinner, I mixed up some more mortar and set the few remaining tiles in.
I also had to cut these little guys for the pantry area.
I managed to get everything accomplished around 9 o'clock. I went out to my truck and realized I had a bunch of stuff packed in the back, so I had to unload that before I could leave. It was the first time I'd been at the house at night, and the surrounding area is quiet, dark, and peaceful.
