The weather feels like a bad retelling of a Monty Python joke. Summer too -forever- to get here, and it was just kind of hanging about, being spring-like, then BOOM, for a week in September it was HOT and bright and sunny. Now it's cold in the mornings, chilly at night, and a smidge warm and sunny during the day. Wait, it's autumn, what? I got drizzled on at the bus stop the other day, apple trees are in full fruition, and people are starting to look for hoodies and space heaters. WTF. We skipped summer completely?

Since it's foggy and there's a crispness in the air, it calls for two of my favorite early-fall type comfort foods: sherried eggs on toast, and fried rice. Since we don't have a sufficiently sized oven or a cast-iron pan, I couldn't do the eggs justice, but butter, eggs, sherry, parmesan cheese, black pepper and buttermilk bread toast? Fabu~

Today's fried rice has red onion, an apple, garlic, leftover teriyaki sauce, yellow rice, and spicy kimchee~

Issa happy ottah. Now to pounce the wolf and love on him before I have to take a shower and go to work.
