Identifying fonts is HARD. x_x I went to
http://www.identifont.com because I wanted to find the font used on our shipping labels, since the website for the label distributing site didn't mention it. I used their font identifying system but ended up with a font -similar- but too 'normal looking'... it's a very distinctive almost cartoonish font (at least, in my mind)
Anyway, my brain was saying "It's something like... Coppersmith, or Blackcopper, or something...?"
Cooper Black! Copper didn't pan out, but I thought it had 'black' in the name, and a little cross-association, I found it! That only took me... I dunno, 10 minutes total? Sad, but fun! Thank you Oswald Bruce Cooper for creating such a fun little font, I ♥ it. I now have
this label posted on my door. It's also the title of my journal. I like how it's a simple message using slightly complex words, but it conveys absolutely no information whatsoever. =D I love
this label too. Everyone needs a 'NO FSCKING PENGUINS' sticker, don't you think? Whereas
this is the label I hate/love to see the most on a box. It's like seeing "This page intentionally left blank" on a printer's proof.
I've been craving a
báhn mì all morning after talking to
tazzietiger. Ffffff. Either that or... corned beef! With saurkraut and that curly carrot salad on it, too. On pumpernickel, and don't spare the hot mustard! GAH. Why don't I ever have any sandwich-making supplies? I should make like Arthur Dent and become a Sandwich King. O-Sando-Oh or something.
Incidentally, every time I hear Kansas' "Carry On My Wayward Son" I think solemnly/fondly (nostalgia?) about
hgryphon. Operant conditioning or cross-association? YOU DECIDE.
