Just got back from Game Day at Danielle's sister Terry's domicile. Was much fun. Dorothy + Walter were there, and Danielle, and her son Sean and his girlfriend Mary (who knows vixerz and possibly Cheryl too, question-mark?) and Angela, who I had a math class with back in the day.
I out-performed my brother playing... one of the incarnations of Mariokart. I was surprised, since I'm usually pretty bad at that sort of thing, but I had a lot of fun. Whee. Also played Personal Preference, a v. excellent board game. I don't feel like describing it right now, but it's awfully fun.
Next week is apparently game day again, even though Danielle is returning to WA. Possibly here? So... *hopes to snag Dylan and play Cheapass games and such with him* *yays*
Oh, I am also borrowing Excel Saga, so I can finally see it. Should be fun.
In my ideal world, there would be Game Day, but also Movie Night (or Day, or something) where people can get together in a safe environment and snack and play nifty games and watch anime and eat dinner and go home happy. Ah well~
