Oh maaaaaan I wish I could go to Naomi Novik's book appearance thingy in NYC in July 13th (the day Tongue of Serpents comes out! \:D/). I've seen youtube videos of her readings where she like, DOES BRITISH VOICES and shiz for the characters and omg she is so supercute. ♥ But it's a Tuesday, and I can't take off work because I'm already taking off the Thursday and Friday of that week to go to Philly. DANNY MAKE SURE YOU GET THE NEW BOOK BEFORE PHILLY SO WE CAN BE READING IT/SQUEEING OVER IT AT THE SAME TIME.
New books I've read this year:
Angela's Ashes (Frank McCourt)
The Graveyard Book (Neil Gaiman)
Drawing Down the Moon (Margot Adler)
Book of Shadows (Phyllis Curott)

The Spiral Dance (Starhawk)
The Way of Four (Deborah Lipp)
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (Betty Smith)
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Jane Austen and Seth Graham-Smith)
Call Me By Your Name (Andre Aciman)
Kitchen Confidential (Anthony Bourdain)
Cold Mountain (Charles Frazier)
