In case anyone saw the weather report for knoxville, we had heavy rain and thunderstorms but no actual twisters. Waya and I chilled out in the bathroom. Next time we have a tornado warning remind me to pack a book. and a comfy chair.

But of COURSE. :) Brian Blessed is a special brand of cheesy hi-test awesomeness. Of course I've mostly seen him in comedy, loved him in black adder and in flash gordon. (I don't CARE that it's a movie built of corn. . BB with wings is awesome with awesome sauce.)

There was a time when Brian was an actor's actor. Many years ago the BBC sponsored a production about Chopin. Brian was in as a good friend of the composer and he was excellent.

In these last few years, like so many other actors who are "of a certain age", he has decided to enjoy himself to the full and show the younger kids how to really romp!
