Today was the second day of High School and I must say I learned MANY new things. Now, listen as I spin the tale of my first two days:
On the first morning, that wonderfully EARLY morning, at 5:45 I woke up to "Kill Me, Heal Me" (by Skillet) playing. I immediately hopped out of bed and turned it down, because the volume I had set it to was loud enough to wake the entire lake. Then I got dressed and woke up my parents....who were already awake, but that's not the point.
I had my breakfast of yogurt and apple juice and skipped down my hugely long driveway with my father to wait for the bus at 6:40-ish. My neighbor across the street was awake and working on his house so we talked to him for a while until my big yellow # 13 bus pulled up. I kissed my dad on the cheek and scurried in to meet my bus-driver Sue and a very vacant bus that was, strangely, LOUD. Being intimidated I sat, actually fell, into the front seat that was right behind the driver and kind of huddled in the corner. I was quiet the rest of the way there.....because I knew NO ONE!!!
When we reached school, after picking up some other chicks, we unloaded into the crowded courtyard. Trust me, there was 700 14 year olds talking.....it was freakishly frightening. But, I survived.
After that, we all went to orientation. Which was pointless, since the stuff they told us was told to us AGAIN every single class.
Anyway, first period was Honors English. When I sat down, the kid next to me started talking and introduced himself to me as Alex. We talked about books, then the bell rang and we were all told to sit down and shut up. Then we were handed pages of stuff telling us what we should and shouldn't do.
The rest of the day went in this matter and I met other people through out it. It was freakish. Esspecially the people. *nods* I have never seen so many peircings on a 9th grade boy........*shudders* His hair was cool though....*wants it*
Yesh yesh. Then I got on the bus and came home, did homework for an hour, had dinner and went to sleep. Today was the same. Except I wasn't scared anymore and was half as talkative as normal, instead of not talkative at all.
I also met inneresting people on the bus, like a potty-mouthed senior, a teen boy who has offered to teach me wakeboarding(XD!!), a lad who writes 'demonic' on his hand, and a girl who was actually pretty nice, though she was a Sophmore and doesn't go to the Freshman Campus and instead goes to the upper campus.
PHEW! *wipes sweat of forehead* That was a LOT!
*decides to use her happy upside down Gaara of love icon*
