I took a sick day yesterday -- second one in 3 years.
Initially I thought I had food poisoning, but after 24 hours of fever and hurling, then another 24 hours of just feeling really crappy, I'm thinking something else entirely. Flu, perhaps? Irritating -- this is why I got a flu vaccine. Then again, might be that I was only sick 2 days instead of 5 because of the vaccine. Hard to tell.
Today is my normal day off, so I've generally been lazing about and feeling fair.
Back to work tomorrow, hopefully not to run myself into the ground.
I still don't feel 100%, so who knows. It's sort of like the flu went away and left me with a cold.
