Today launches my new blog "Tour de fifty", which chronicles the adventures of the cross country trip I will be taking this summer to celebrate my 50th birthday. I hope my readers will take this journey with me as I quest to discover my past, my present and my future. Halfway through life - caught between growing children and aging parents, responsibility and self determination - the Tour de Fifty is all about my midlife transition.
