Rain, rain, rain . . .

It's really raining hard today, even by displaced Easterner standards. There's standing water on the concrete RV pad outside my office window and birds are showering on the top of the fence. And my main thought is, "FREE, UNCHLORINATED WATER FOR THE POND!"

I've been having an helluva time writing this week, between the illness and the meds, and the soothing patter on the roof is not helping. Nice, though.
