And I'd say that Luck in the shadows is definitely on this list, as it's one of those book I love read again and it's always great.
Tsk tsk says the Holmesian purist, that's A Study In Scarlet in the book form. ;) But I LOVED a Study in Pink, and all the rest of the Sherlock episodes (well Hound of the Baskervilles not so much). Can't wait until Season 3 premiers here in the US on Jan. 19, on the same night as Downton Abbey!
You are right, of course - I haven't checked and as I recently rewatched series, the episode title was fresher in my mind. I must admit that from first series I didn't enjoy Blind banker as much as the other episodes... And with Hound I have problem - i enjoyed it, but I can't reach it, as it is boring a bit when explanation is known. I can't wait too, though i am a bit afraid too. Moffat and Gattis are brilliant duet but after waiting so long my expectations are a bit high and I dunno if the series will meet them. Also my doubts are bigger as I don't really like what Moffat did with Doctor Who... but nevertheless I can't wait to see first meeting of Sherlock and John.
OMG, Moon of Three Rings was one of my all-time fave Andre Norton books! :) Let's see...only 10? In no particular order, here goes:
1- Lord of the Rings. Because. :D 2- The Hallowed Hunt by Lois McMaster Bujold 3- Flesh & Spirit by Carol Berg 4- Breath & Bone by Carol Berg 5- The Time Traders by Andre Norton 6- Name of a Shadow by Ann Maxwell 7- Hunter of Worlds by CJ Cherryh 8- The Riddle Master of Hed by Patricia A. McKillip 9- Heir of Sea & Fire by McKillip 10- Harpist in the Wind by McKillip
These are the ones I can't live without. And that's not even naming my favorite Judith Tarr books...
Ooh, so you love Salem's Lot too?? :) It's also one of my favorite books. I loved the little Mark Petrie, he's so sweet. Brite - The Discworld series - Terry Pratchett - The Nightrunner serie - no need to say from who, right? ;) - Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling - Ikebukuro West Gate Park - Ishida Ira - The Vampire Armand - Anne Rice - Coin Locker Babies - Murakami Ryu
