Yes, folks, this week I start work on what will be the seventh and last Nightrunner book. As excited as I am about going in some new directions, it makes me sad, too. Oh my God, is it really to be an end? Does it have to? Ok, I know it does. *sigh*
I'm being so sentimental these days while I'm reading Nightrunners all over again that this post almost touched me to tears, because I love them, even though I don't know them half the time you do. Still, they are part of something within. I'm looking frantically forward to Glimpses II., and keep working, whatever you will work on!
And you've really, really made my day by that promise. Just like - really. Seregil deserves happily ever after.

All good things must come to an end. Still, I know I'll cry at the end, and I'm glad it won't also be because one or both of them is dead.

As sad as this is--which it really is; I love the series more and more with each new book and the full-series reread it inevitably inspires--I'm glad you're not dragging things out too long.
