Cozy Day

Pouring rain is predicted for at least the next week, which bodes ill for a lot of areas between here and LA, with flash flooding and mud slide warnings being issued. So I feel a little guilty, enjoying the rain on the roof so much as I sit here by the fire, sipping an excellent tea and writing, safe above the flood zone.

I am doing the same thing! Sans writing, since I'm rereading Luck in the Shadows instead :) Rain is the best when you have a warm blanket and tea!

I was running around in the rain like a 5 year old earlier until I slipped and fell. Now I'm inside, bundled up in towels and blankets, watching Toy Story 2, and drinking raspberry hot cocoa.

The rain may have won this round but the consolation prize isn't all that bad ^.^ We'll re-match tomorrow when I have to drive in it to work.

I would love some rain or snow right now. We were supposed to get up to three inches today (I'm in CT) and we didn't get anything. I'm always disappointed when we're promised some sort of precipitation, and we get nothing. I love rain and snow...

Oh well. Enjoy it, but I hope there are no problems with the rain! :D
