Pimp My Husband: Amazon Edition

If a person can be analyzed by the multimedia company he keeps, what do you make of my husband Danny? He recently placed an order on Amazon for a wide variety of things for himself. He almost never makes such a large order, so I felt this was a prime opportunity for you fine folks to get a glimpse into his psyche.

  1. Glee, Season 1 Volume 1: Road to Sectionals DVD
He has the hots for Puck. I do, too, and I also think Coach Tanaka would also be kinda hot if he lost some weight. Oh, but this isn't about me, it's about Danny, right?

  2. Inglourious Basterds Blu-Ray
Neither of us has seen this movie as of my writing this, but he was interested after I showed him the trailer.

  3. Salò, or The 120 Days of Sodom Criterion Collection DVD
He's been adamant about getting this movie by Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini, even after seeing it. For me it has to be the most nauseating, most disgusting non-horror movie I've ever had the displeasure of attempting to watch. In my opinion the parade of disturbing images is so pervasive and without promise of forthcoming redemption that it negates any noble purpose Pasolini was trying to achieve.

  4. Gone With the Wind hardcover
  5. Gone With the Wind Collector's Edition Blu-Ray set
Even though I bought him the bare-bones Target one-disc Blu-Ray for Christmas, he wanted so many of the special features only available in the Collector's Edition that he was willing to pay the premium for it--and only a modest premium at that, thanks to Amazon. Although he already has the paperback edition of the book (and probably the hardcover too, somewhere) he wanted to ensure he most definitely he had the hardcover.

So, what do you think? What do his choices say about him? What would you change? What else would you recommend specifically for him?
