Hi! Ohh... *stares at the shiny new buttons in the text editor* What the heck is this? I've read that LJ is behaving badly with posts, so I won't buy this new pretty version trying to confuse me! *waves fist*
Aheam. I only wanted to say hi! I'm alive and busy. What a great way to be alive (well, it's true! Otherwise you get bored and die). But this is like really busy, and I don't like it to that extent. I have to hand out an essay this Thursday, about some versions of the legend of Faust, associating it with some texts by Eco, Borges, Bajtin and Lévi-Strauss (that one I added it myself) to make something that we don't even know what it is. I'm done, but it's riddiculous. And I have an exam that same day for that same class. I'm not sure if I like this term, haha.
Anyway, I'm doing my best :D I also got myself a couple of little freelance jobs, like translating a motorcycle manual for a friend of my parents', a commission and something for
lectura35. And it's all going very slowly, but I'm trying to accomplish everything. And I can't wait to share two new stories, because I don't have time to write or read fanfiction at the moment. Or colour!! I was supposed to colour a sketch I did!
What I did do was read Dan Brown's Lost Symbol. I loved it! I couldn't stop reading. I still don't know what to think about the ending, but I feel quite moved by what Brown's novels say. And it also happened something... funny with it, but I don't want to spoil you if you didn't read the book. I'll put in in white below...
Robert Langdom has something of a Harry Potter moment, you know? He kind of dies... The book makes you believe that he dies! And I was so sad that I cried, and I kept reading, and Langdom was mentioned as if he was still dead--well, if you're reading this, I assume you read the book and know what I'm talking about. I didn't realize he was alive! I felt so silly then. But it would have been awful if he died. He was brilliant! He knew so many secrets!
Enough sobbing.
I love my new icon :D Made it with this amazing fanart that
chashirskiy made to illustrate my fic, "My Felix Valentine":
I was so happy!!

Well, I just wanted to write a little here. V has started, so I've got to go!
Yes, I'm still Potterless.
Much love!
