rhr100 x 4 (drabbles)
I should be studying Grammar, but I'm sick of it, really. Here are four 100-word drabbles written for rhr100 a while ago.
Title: Support the team
Prompt: Team

Word Count: 100
Warnings: None
Notes: This is set in fifth year from Hermione's POV, in case you don't get it, and I don't really love how it turned out, but I needed to unleash some words again.
I'm definitely not one for sports. I wouldn't die if Quidditch was banned from Hogwarts (given the current situation, it wouldn't surprise me), or if I was banned from the Quidditch pitch.
It means a lot to them, though, to Harry and Ron. Since Ron told me he made it to the team, I can't stop smiling. First I was there for Harry, all the way. Now I suppose I have a stronger reason. Because my two friends will be there, I mean. Not that Ron is a special reason or anything.
Thinking of sports is giving me a headache.

Notes: The title is a word that I invented... It would mean: a physiological need for love. I hope it's clear when this is set :)
Ravenous, constantly greedy. Food barely touches his plate. When he's happy, he eats. When he's sad, eats. When he's angry, eats. Is there a moment when he's not eating? You'd wonder if he's starved at home, like Harry, and that's why he eats like a beast; but any doubt disappears the moment you meet the Weasleys. And you're led to think that he would eat almost anything you offered him, but again, observation would prove you wrong.
I used to think of that as an amusing fact. I never imagined that food would be the cause of my current misery.

Notes: I don't think Hermione believes in luck. At least not in the common sense. But for me (and maybe she shares my view), luck is a more or less fortunate combination of circumstances.
Harry said it; Ginny said it; my parents said it; even George, from whom I couldn't hide anything, said it. You can do it. That's what they said. And here I am. Trying.
I have at least fifty different speeches, but I know they'll all vanish as Leprechaun's coins the moment I look at her. It's happened before; I try too hard and end up saying lots of rubbish. Spontaneous, nice rubbish, though.
Now she's here, smiling.
'I'll give this dress a last chance; it's brought me very bad luck in the past-'
Not tonight.
'Will you marry me?'

Notes: I realise I used a lot of even's...
'These are a lot of tellies...'
'Nice remark,' Hermione said, amused.
'I mean, it's a bit... It's scary, actually,' Ron observed, looking at the dozens of moving figures all around.
'Why is it different from moving photographs, or even the radio?'
'I don't know...' Ron frowned.
'Even communication through the Floo Network is similar-'
'I know, but for example, these moov things...'
'Movies.'
'Right. People acts, and it's not even a play.'
'Mhm. Do you still want to get one? I've never been a fan of TV, anyway.'
'Do they have Quidditch?'
'No. Let's go get a new wireless.'

Before I forget, I'm supposed to be a "reccer" (gosh, I don't even know what the word itself means, but never mind) at ronbigbang , which is great, but problem is, I'm afraid members will hate me for being a RHr shipper (don't know if anybody has realised that people in that community aren't big fans of Hermione...). I have lots of great Ron art, but not many fics centered on Ron only. Reccomendations would be welcome ;)
I'm still waiting for the mods to give me posting access, though.
I might also post one rec at crack_broom because December is a free-flying month, and I have exactly what I want to rec, so I hope they'll allow me ^-^
I think I've made up my mind about my journal style: I'll make a better mood theme with RHr pics from all the movies (but maybe more from DH ;P), and my icons will be made from art (and here I shall start asking the artists for some use licenses...) And the header is likely to be a manipulation or something fancy, but not with art or movies. Otherwise it'll be tiring to see, I reckon.
