Purple fingered
Big excitement: I have tickets to see Manu Chao! I waited too long for the Friday date and it sold out, but he added another gig on the 2nd, so I'll be at the first performance of the tour. Awesome.
Things are going well in the woods. It finally stopped raining last week so all the digging & drainage work went ahead and is nearly finished. I have also been picking lots of blackberries, which have turned my fingers purple :) I made some jam with the first lot, and it turned out fruity, but possibly not quite sweet enough. I am freezing the rest until I get more jars!
The weather was amazing yesterday and the contractors weren't working in the woods, so we went to the coast and walked along some of the Pembrokshire coast path. West Wales is so beautiful.
