Monkeys clapping and girls were cutting loose!
The Gogol Bordello gig last night was amazing! My ears are ringing, my legs ache and I have bruises...all very much worth it :D As usual the tallest man in the place stood right in front of me just as the set was starting. That always happens! That inspired me to push to the front though, which was much more fun. I didn't quite get to the centre so didn't actually get to grab Eugene when he jumped into the crowd, but I think I might actually have died of heat or an elbow to the head if I'd been there. As it was my friends reckoned I looked like I'd been in a fight. Also I am now gutted because I've just found out they're doing an acoustic set right now on Oxford St and I'm at work. Damn you work! :(
I won't try and remember the setlist as none of you care anyway...but I did have great fun shouting "I make a better rock revolution alone with my dick" at the appropriate moment as well as lots of words in languages I don't understand :D I want to go again!
