Still here, so far.

I know, I threw a fit the other week. My moods have been...not good, lately. But I have a dilemna that I can't really figure out how to resolve.

What I want, more than anything, is to integrate as much of my life as I can in my Android phone. I know I'll have it with me to jot down things as I have time and thought to do so. I want to have things inline. I want it to be simple. And I want it such that if people do migrate to other locations, I can keep up.

Here are the problems:

* Protected feeds, period. I have yet to find a way to get the protected feeds from LJ (or dreamwidth afaik) to Google Reader (and that may be impossible). My Rss feeds are centrally fed from there. I did once have a Windows RSS client (RssBandit) that did the auths, even if it was painful. But now the phone is involved.

* I literally cannot access the mobile lj site from my phone right now. And I hated it anyway. (The dreamwidth mobile site is the same as the old LJ mobile site, which I didn't like but didn't hate.) The LJ post apps for Android suck. There are none for dreamwidth. There are 2 decent ones, it looks like, for Wordpress/Prismatic, though I haven't fully tested them.

* However, I also want access groups myself for my posts. Wordpress's seem...clunky. They'd make more sense if the whole community was there, but I have doubts on that happening at any time.

So I have my blogs basically ported to Dreamwidth and Wordpress. And have not a clue what to do from here. I do know I'm a bit sick of LJ.

It's a mess frankly.
