Not only was it rather shamelessly influenced by her much superior Romana/Nine story, but this subject came up in a conversation with her about said story and then, for some insane reason, she actually encouraged me to write it. I'm afraid this was tossed off in a bit of a hurry, because mostly I just wanted to get

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I find Nine's voice really interesting to write, actually. He's very, very different from all the other Doctors in some ways, and yet just like them in others. :)

This was lovely. 9th Doctor voice is perfect, and so is Romana's from what I can remember of her (it's been a very long time since I've seen her on screen). The one thing that I do remember is that she did have the Doctor off balance more than a few times, and yes, he did love her for that ability.

Make me want to go out and watch all the Romana episodes, except I don't have any (drat! and I'm already spending way too much every month at Amazon).

Whee! That was a lot of fun, from start to finish and a lot of that because of the delightful characterisation. The rest of because the whole concept is rather irresistible, really :D

I really wanna see Rose's reaction. That was really good this is my first Romana/Doctor not Four so that was interesting, and I think you did a splendid job.
