Yay \o/. No matter what Sam has to say on the matter, I'm glad Dean decided to go ahead with consumating the bond. Apart from the fact that it was incredibly hot, it was good to see Dean so happy and for him to truly know just how much he means to Cas. Dean spends so much of his time waiting to be left behind, so for him to know that Cas will never leave him is a huge thing for Dean.

Hopefully Sam will accept that... and the ritual to stop Lucifer will work.

Well to be fair to Sam, it is a huge thing and Dean does have a tendency to jump into things he doesn't fully understand if it'll help people he cares about. So Sam was just worried for his brother and without the addition conversation between Dean and Cas and the memory of what happened on the way out of Hell it is a bit difficult to understand. Once he sees them together, Sam will probably come to understand it all.
