Oddly enough, for once Dean clung to the thought that maybe he'd been different, unique. Better. Whereas before he'd practically outright dismissed the mere notion, now he almost wished for it to be true. To think that he'd managed to protect a part of himself despite the sheer horror and despair of the Pit, that he had managed to thwart Alastair on some level and hadn't completely broken but had instead maintained some of his goodness even when he'd lost all hope. It was a heartening thought and something he could be proud of if he could just come to truly believe it instead of merely regarding it as a nice possibility to be pondered or considered.

I love that Dean is slowly but surely beginning to see the good in himself. It hasn't been easy for him but at least he's trying.

Yes, well, in the end it's still Dean and he wouldn't be himself if he didn't put his foot in it occassionally.
Michael has most definitely grown on Dean and vice versa. I always thought that they should be compatible on some level if they really were meant/made/created to fit together the way they were supposed to.
Lol, hopefully it can live up to expectations as I think those are quite high right now.

OMG "What the- Did you just mojo my pee away?" Dean finally demanded in disbelief.

Im not sure if that or Dean being able to hear Castiel's true voice and know its him was the best bit!

Lol, two such very different bits :)
The pee bit was something that I wrote quite a while ago, a snippet that came to me and that I couldn't risk forgetting about.

I have an essay to write and yet I keep getting distracted by your writing!! I've read this story through a couple of times and your other works too!!! ARGGGG!! I need to finish my essay.

Why do you have to be so good??!!! You can't write more... I need to concetrate, but I need to know how it goes. ARGGG!!!

Also, I love how un-Sam Sam is and yet still remain in character.

Ouch, sorry! Been there, done that, so I know exactly what you're going through, but seriously, this fic, several times?
Fan fic addiction is hard to live with isn't it? I just wish real life would go away sometimes.
