Title: Unexpected Destinies Rating: PG-13 Spoilers: up to and including Exile on Main St., AU from the end of season 5 Warnings: AU, slash Word Count: 2,679 Summary: Dean still doesn't trust Raphael.
"You attacked and killed someone very important to him," Michael added. "Even though Father brought Castiel back, that is a very grave offense in his eyes."
That is so Dean! And I am glad that Michael is coming around.
Reading this chapter reminded me of how much I love Dean!! You described every characteristic that Dean has ever shown...amazing!!
Could he handle a real relationship without something this huge eating up most of their time? If he was honest with himself, he knew that he wasn't sure but, surprisingly for the first time in his life, he wanted to try it and see.
Thanks! I know, me too, but he (and everyone else in this fic) are running away from me. Who knows where they'll all end? I've only got a vague idea at this point. This fic was not supposed to be so damn long!
I love how much Michael has changed, he's coming to truly understand Dean and I hope Raphael will too soon enough. I loved the previous two fluff chapters as well, especially the sown angels and subsequent snowball fight!
I couldn't resist the opportunity to sow in a little extra angst, not after the all the sugary sweetness from before. Plus Raphael just lends himself to this type of scenario.
