R10 ENDS!
Apologies to anyone who couldn't make it, I stalled this for as long as possible ;3; But thanks so much to everyone who has participated this round, despite the more technically challenging themes. We really appreciate and love all 22 hugely talented participants!

I'm going to fly off on holiday starting tomorrow so the voting posts will have to wait until next week when I am settled. Anyway I hope everyone is enjoying themselves this holiday~ We have a couple of things we wanna talk to you about.
INFORMAL HOLIDAY GIFT EXCHANGE
This was an idea ryfee had ever since the conception of otp20in20, inspired by ff_eye_candy ( HERE) and shoujo_battle ( HERE). This ran in 2007 (lol our iconning age is showing) and it's such a great idea we thought we'll revive it this holiday season & for otp20in20's 1st anniversary!
Basically people can put up a couple of links to images (of OTP, in keeping with the theme here) they want an icon out of. Then other members, mods included, can respond by making them an icon from one of the linked images. It's neat, there's no obligations and you can make as many or as little icons as you want/have time for. Just the sort of commitment free relationship thing we all yearn for this holiday, Y/Y? We are really keen on the idea, esp. as you guys have had one year now to get to know each other and us, it'll be a nice bonding experience, so to speak 8D? K I SOUND LIKE A GRADE SCHOOL TEACHER RN.
While the gift exchange challenge runs, otp20in20 will take a break until mid January, as all the mods will be on holiday!

Our overly ambitious and sadly neglected challenge (most of all by us orz). It's meant to end now that R10 has concluded. Sadly we only have 5 participants (kudos and big thank you to you all! 50 icons is no easy feat!). Unless there's a sudden change in wind and we start getting loads more entries, sadly this has to end and we won't be able to hold an icontest. However, there will be a showcase of the contestant up in January. Your efforts will also be preserved evermore in our sidebar links and userinfo.
ANYWAY THAT'S A LOT OF INFO TO TAKE IN, IK. But who's excited for the holiday gift giving spree? *raises hand* It will either be posted just right before the voting post or after the winners are announced, depending on how eager the mods are :D
