so I'm back from Texas..

yep...I made it home yesterday..and I was too lazy to update..especially with all the laundry that I had to do.. (grumbles) but yea..so here I am..updating today :)
So I shall yamber on about the trip.
We went to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston, all within the span of a week.
My sister and I arrived in Dallas/Fort Worth on Saturday..well technically, it was Sunday morning..but Saturday will do for now. We meet our parents at the luggage carosels(sp?) and go to the Jeep which they have rented for the duration of the trip. We drive back to the hotel..and sleep :)
The next day (Sunday) we have to go to the show (reason why we went to Texas in the first place) and so we bum around cause the show was really slow. I wrote the first order that day...and couple more..but that was about it. Nothing really big. My sis and I basically sat there..until lunch. Ate lunch. (which was gross, but when you're hungry, you'll eat next to anything..mind you..I said NEXT TO anything) Then after lunch, my mom, sis and I went with this lady in the booth next to ours, to the Market Cash and Carry centre (across the street from the World Trade Centre)..basically everything was uber cheap. It was more accessories than anything else..but it was soo much fun. But my feet were KILLING me... (I was wearing my turquoise flip flops with the heels..definately NOT smart)..but yea..
I picked up a couple of bracelets ..a pair of flip flops (pink with this GIGANTIC flower ...cute :D ) and a new purse which cost me ...nothing! but my mom paid for it..hahahha it's black with pink poka dots ...I think I said something about it before..but anyways.
We left the Market and went back to the booth...sat there for a couple of hours..then decide to go get Starbucks from the main floor (We were on the 13th floor..and this place was HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)...Why didn't we think of getting Starbucks before?! lol..probably cause there was this MASSIVE line that stretched the whole way down the hallway...but yea..we lined up for like 5 mins (short line..*whew*) and got our drinks.. *sigh* Life just isn't fabulous without my Vanilla Latte...honestly. No wonder I've been so damn moody these past couple of days... hahahha.. it felt soo good.
Then we marched back upstairs and sat for another hour...before it was closing time. I think for dinner we went to this seafood restaurant called Pappadeaux (can't remember how to spell it..but ultimately..something like that) it was REALLLLLLLLLLLY good..but trés expensive. Then we drove back to the hotel and slept.

Monday- since the show had next to no traffic, my parents let my sis and I stay at the hotel for the day..and go SHOPPING lol..yea..
So we woke up for breakfast with the parents..then went back to the room to sleep. Two Dawson's Creek episodes later, we went to the mall. The Galleria (the mall) was pretty big... 3 levels..all with designer brands...
Like Gucci, Versace, Louis Vitton... too bad my budget was 100 bucks..lol..
but nonetheless, we found stuff... more my sister than I ...but yes..we "shopped till we dropped" literally. Feet were killing..not like the day before..but still..a tingle. lol
Lemme see...we walked around, went to the Gap and Old Navy, but didn't buy anything.. My sis bought stuff at American Eagle and at Wet Seal... I didn't cause a) I'm too fat to fit into anything at Wet Seal b) Tempted to get shirt at AE..but didn't.. so we continued on. At this store called Express I got 2 tops for 25 bucks.. wasn't horrible...but then you converted the 25 AMERICAN to Canadian..and I didn't feel oh so special anymore.. but whatever..it was fine. (This is gonna be boring..cause all I'm doing is describing every damn thing..but yea..ENJOY..hahah) Then at Macy's I got this polo top thing...for like 15 bucks..I splurged.. and my sis said that it was "my type of shirt"...go figure. 6 Years at Mentor's gotta have some sort of impact on me..right? lol
Well yea.. I got a "preppy" top.. shhh..
Then..we went to Bath and Body Works.. *sigh* heavennnn.. hahhaha.. I love that store. For those who don't know, it's like the Body Shop..just ...not. hahah.. but they were having a MASSIVE ...ok..not so massive..but sale nonetheless..and I got body lotion, hand lotion and 2 lip balms (why 2? *shrugs* on sale??)...spent like 20 bucks..but I loved it. so spurge was worth it.
I think that was it... :S
oh..wait.. the big purchase..
my mom joined us after she came back from the show..we then went to the LV store... nothing really nice in there btw..lol
then we went to Abercrombie & Fitch..and I got this sweater for...*gulp* 60 bucks.. I KNOW.. horrible isn't it? but I wanted it..so my mommy let me have it..lol
my sis bought another skirt...so..we ended up spending about the same amount the entire day..lol..
for dinner we went to....... AH! TrailDust ...some steakhouse place..pretty good..not too expensive...so yea...
Tuesday-
We went back to the trade show cause it was take down day...
my sis and I ended up back at the Cash and Carry place..where I bought...2 bracelets and a Diet Coke charm for my italian bracelet..

...ok..I'll continue in a bit...pause for lunch..

toodle-loos,

Wei-Ling
