(no subject)
So...it's Mother's Day, so let me start off by saying Happy Mother's Day (not like there are any moms who read my blogs, but just in case)
I've kind of sucked hardcore at the whole LJ thing, I've even slacked off on my Myspace, but I think I need to get back on the saddle because I've received some great thoughts, insight, and advice from people on here...
I have alot to update on, but I'll do babysteps...I'm recovering from a discography that the Doctor did on my back Friday to determine where the source of my pain has been coming from. Thank God for insurance, because this has been an ongoing ordeal for well over 1 1/2 year and I still have not really gotten any definitive answers. Hopefully these new tests will show something.
On other fronts, my Mom has been making some real efforts in patching things up....I think my Grandfather's death in October made her realize what she walked away from so many years ago and she is trying to bring us back in. When my Grams and sister were down from NJ a few weeks ago, my Mother and Stepfather were better than I had expected and I had a good time. It's too late for her to be our Mother, but maybe there's a shot at her being a friend. Unfortunately she has still not cleaned up her act when it comes to the drugs and booze, but what is the saying about leopards and their spots...I worry about her, but there's nothing that I can do. What worries me is how my sister seems to be taking after her.
Finally for this update, I am moving toward the end of the summer back up to the Garden State. Originally I'd planned to move toward the end of may/mid June...but the Doctor wants to try a few things on my back and asked if I could maybe delay my departure.
