So this is rather upsetting...
So, I got my paper back from the Monitor with two reviews attached to it. Two BAD and contradictory reviews, I might add.
Just to let you in on why I'm upset: This is my paper for my Major Writing Requirement. This was the paper I spend months researching for. This is the paper that I received an A on. This was the paper that my professor (who's writing books) not only recommended for publishing, but also proofread for me specifically so that it would get published.
So yes. Bad, upsetting reviews. Reviews made by students. Just so you know, I'm going to start ranting... now.
One says that I don't have enough evidence for the argument I'm making. The other says that my argument is incoherent (but btw, it's really well researched!). And one of the idiots doesn't know the definition of the word expansionism, saying that I didn't talk about colonialism or conquest only economic interactions. Well, I very well didn't say IMPERIALISM now DID I!
And not enough evidence!!! How is ELEVEN PRIMARY DOCUMENTS on the freaking world tour of the King od Siam that was hyped up about but NEVER ACTUALLY HAPPENED not enough EVIDENCE!!! Why don't THEY try to get articles on a historical event in the 1880s that never took place!!
And how is American racism in the 19th century a tangential argument when we're freaking talking about what the American media thought about the King of Siam! If you haven't noticed, he's ASIAN! Of COURSE racism has everything to do with what they said about him!
*FUUUUUUUUUUUUUME*
