Yesterday was a mighty fine day.
Kelsey and I met up at Lot 43 at USF. We then drove to Busch Gardens in my car, and when we got there, we noticed there was more people than usual. Because I have a platinum pass, we got preferred parking which was closer to the park than the other parking. I used my 50% off coupon I got with my platinum pass to get her in at half price. She paid for that, so I paid for all the food and everything the rest of the day. x3
We first began to head to Montu, but we stopped at "King Tut's Tomb" just because I'd never been there before. We tried to go into the gift shop, but it was closed. We then rode on Montu, in the front row. Note to self: Riding Montu first, especially in the front, is not the best idea. A smaller coaster is better as a first ride of the day. Either way, it was fun, and then the gift shop was open, so we went in. It had some really expensive stuff, especially the chests. One was big enough to look like something out of Zelda.
We then began to head to the skyride, but decided to make a pit stop at the bathrooms. The First Aid office was nearby there, which led to me recounting the time when I carried a girl I liked to the First Aid Office, when she felt ill on a school trip to Busch Gardens. Apparently Kelsey thought that was chivalrous of me. Before actually going on the skyride, we checked out some of the animals. I took a lot of pictures. After, we went on the skyride, and we kissed while riding it. We got off in Stanleyville, and then headed to Jungala. I was a bit hungry, and she was a bit hungry as well, so we went to the OrangCafe, and I bought us food. During this time, we kissed while sharing a strawberry, and fed each other food. She mentioned she liked my singing. That made me happy. We then went to the net-play area in Jungala, and climbed the tower. We cuddled there for a bit, took a picture together, and then climbed back down, and walked around Jungala for a bit, climbing through some of the other areas as we came across them. We cuddled by the waterfall. After exiting Jungala's play area, we went into a gift shop. I needed to buy a strap for my glasses because they felt a little loose, and I didn't want to lose them. WE also saw the neat, solar powered, blinking name keychains. I found on with her name on it, and said I was going to buy it for her. She said no, but I refused to listen, and bought it anyways. She said "two can play that game" and she bought one for me too. XD
After Jungala, we got a Shamu Ice Cream Bar, and shared that. We walked around for a bit, headed to Timbuktu, and cuddled on a bench for a while. We then went on Cheetah Chase, the kiddy coaster. XP That was fun as well. Following that, we went to SheiKra. We started to wait in line for the ride, but apparently it broke down right before we got there. We waited in line anyhow, and just talked a lot during the 45 minute wait. Once the ride was back up and running, everyone cheered. The ride itself was over in just a minute or so, once we got on. Being a Dive Machine, it's not a very complex coaster. After SheiKra, we walked over to the bird gardens, and walked through, took pictures of the birds, and talked.
Following that, we went to Gwazi. The lion route was closed, so we went on Tiger. She said she prefers Tiger anyways. I noticed that they had new coaster trains. Apparently they were put in just last month. They're more comfortable than they used to to be. Still a jerky ride, but there's more cushioning now in the seats. After Gwazi, we went to Montu again. We had a holdup there, because right before we were supposed to ride, some dude puked on the ride. It took them 45 minutes to clean and sanitize the ride. They sent it through to dry off. After we rode, Kelsey said she felt a tiny bit nauseous, so we walked back to Jungala, and by the time we got there, she felt better. We then climbed up into a spherical net-cage, and cuddled in there for a while. I asked when we were going to officially become a couple, and she had some insecurities but wanted me to say something reassuring. I said that was one thing I could never reassure people on. We talked and cuddled for a while longer, but decided in the end to officially become a couple. After a while we had to get out and start heading to the park entrance, because the park was closing soon. Once we got to my car, we used my hairbrush to fix our hair. She brushed my hair. x3
I then drove Kelsey back to lot 43, because she had a change of clothes in her car. I was dressed semi-casual/formal already, so I didn't need to change. She changed into a dress, and some heel-boots. XD I then took her to Ichiban, a Japanese restaurant near USF. We ordered a lot of sushi, and she ordered a soup that I can't recall the name of, and it was actually pretty good. It did not look appetizing at all, which is why I was surprised. We ordered 6 California Rolls, 4 Salmon Nigirizushi, 4 Tuna Nigirizushi, 4 Crab Nigirizushi, and 2 Shrimp Nigirizushi. The Crab and Shrimp were exceptionally good. After we were done, it seems like they forgot about us, so we had to remind them to give us the check. I left a decent tip despite the negligence once we were done eating.
Afterward, we then decided to head back to campus and cuddle on the couches in the Marshal Student Center. We headed up to the 4th floor, but stayed hidden in the elevator, just to check if anyone we knew was up there, because we wanted to be alone. There was at least 1 person we knew, so we went to the 3rd floor, and cuddled there. We played with each others hair, I massaged her hand a bit, she messaged my temples, and we kissed a few times; it was altogether, really nice. We spent approximately 2 hours up there. Afterwards, we went back to my car, and I dropped her off at her car. I also got out of my car, embraced her, kissed her, embraced her again, kissed her again, and then left. I sooo wish the night had lasted longer.
On the way home, I got pulled over on Fletcher, within a mile of campus. I accidentally went 45 mph through the 35 mph senior zone, but the cop let me off with a warning. I am so grateful to him. That would have ruined a wonderful day.
