Saya's personality: This is hard to explain. Really, she goes through so many phases throughout the series that it's mind-boggling. I also mix her manga personality with the anime one if you haven't already noticed.

She was happy at the start of the series but, as the series progressed, her personality and cheerful demeanor was demolished and replaced with something much more cold. Saya learned that she was the one that released her sister, Diva, from her cage and thus caused many innocent people to lose their lives. This brings about one feeling: guilt. Diva or Diva-related incidents also caused most of her cherished family to perish. Yeah, Diva sucks. Because of this, Saya only lives to destroy her sister and the Chiropteran species by any means necessary (she is the only one who can kill them). She believes that Chiroptera don't belong in the world of humans and that they're just a threat to humanity. Of course, this is completely ignoring the fact that Haji and herself are Chiropteran.

Her "wish" is to end it all; that is, kill even herself to protect mankind. She refuses to have friends because she doesn't "want to feel regret or sadness for others anymore," as quoted in one of the episodes, though her plan to kill herself (or have Haji kill her, as promised) might have something to do with her saying that.

I'm rambling and going off-topic, ain't I? Oh, right. Personality.

You may find that Saya hates you. Well, she doesn't. That's just her being protective of that proverbial barrier she erected around herself. Unless she has a reason to hate you, you're fine!

Saya has a tendency to be very cold. Again, she doesn't dislike your character but doesn't like them/know them enough to act "happy" or relaxed. There are some exceptions to this depending on the circumstance.

If she seems uncaring, that's not always the case. She can hide her emotions and motives very well, you see. If you ask for help, she may shrug it aside, but then appear out of nowhere "oh hay" and help you to the best of her ability. Don't expect her to stick around and act buddy-buddy, though.

If you're a happy person that likes to help others and suddenly stumble upon Saya... wrrry. I can say that's her weakness because it reminds Saya of her father. That, and children (so cuute). She's not cold enough to not accept your kindness but might have some doubts about accepting it, if that makes any sense. Like mentioned above, don't expect her to stick around. She's anti-social and doesn't want to cause any trouble (even if she won't, lol).

That's all I can write at the moment so expect more in the future! Or edits. Whichever.
