It was a freezing afternoon when it all started, under the equally frozen roofs of the first pavilion to the right when you exit the Fine Arts building where he's waiting, seeking heat from under the bare pavilion. A black puffy coat, black fluffy gloves, and a very bright red --even puffier-- scarf wound around the neck til it reaches just bellow the tips of a finely chiseled nose.

He never thought he'd see someone dressed --not exactly but-- the way he is. He goes for comfort trying with a little ease to not directly kill fashion, thank you very much. The red scarf does it though. Because it's the thickest he's got, and it's the coldest the weather has gotten. He barely remembered to blink his eyes as he stared at the guy walking briskly towards the building, same bright red scarf dangling from his shoulders touching his back.

He smiled as he goes home and stuffs the scarf back into his drawer. That man definitely looked like he walked out of the fashion magazine Zhou Mi loves to read, while Ryeowook looked like a toddler clad in all the warmest, puffiest, largest clothes in the world. He sighed in resignation and said a soft 'bye bye' to his scarf. He doesn't know if he's ever going to wear it again.

It was a wet spring afternoon when Ryeowook has seen him next, having gone to the building to meet with Eunhyuk. A loose black and white striped cardigan framing his not exactly lanky but still fit looking body. Though Ryeowook couldn't help but be stuck at the lower part of that said body because --not that he's looking, really-- he's never seen such perfectly shaped ass, even in those horrible capri pants. Ryeowook curses himself, because the man definitely doesn't look horrible even though he's in those horrible pants.

The next time Ryeowook saw him, the sun was shooting lazer beams all over the world. It was more then 30 degrees and It wasn't an accident, nor was he waiting for someone when he decided to stay under the pavilion outside the Fine Arts building ( when the truth is it's at the far end of the school from where his building is, and it definitely has it's own pavilion ) just to test his luck and... well. Test his luck.

(Then maybe he really is lucky because...) The man emerges from the building wearing a plain white v-neck shirt and... sweating profusely. And he's with Henry. Ryeowook swore his hands trembled just a bit and felt really cold (despite the weather) as he watch Henry's smile slowly inching towards him. He's looking at Henry's smile but he's focused on the blacks and whites of his periphery where he sees the man's toned chest behind the white wet shirt and he swallows the lump in his throat when Henry gave him a one-armed hug.

Kyuhyun is his name, says Henry. And he doesn't remember anything else because he passed out. (Heat stroke, maybe?)

It was in his dreams when he next met Kyuhyun. And Kyuhyun was hovering above him as he was trying to figure out how to open his eyes. But it doesn't make sense because he can see Kyuhyun even with his eyes closed.

The next time he goes to the fine arts building, his purpose was to find Kyuhyun. With the excuse of feeling bad for passing out and not introducing himself properly. He's heard from Henry that Kyuhyun asks about him once in a while ( Henry meant asking if he's fine from the passing out, but Ryeowook definitely tuned that out).

This time it was Kyuhyun's smile he was looking at, and he let his own smile show as he approached him with a wave.

It was like a routine, Ryeowook going to the fine arts building and looking for Kyuhyun. Sometimes he looks for Eunhyuk. Sometimes he meets with Henry. But every time, he looks for Kyuhyun. It was such a nice routine, just nursing his petty little crush.

But when he went out of his ( own ) building one autumn afternoon, and saw a familiar tall figure standing by the pavilion, he couldn't help the huge smile on his face ( primarily because Kyuhyun was there, definitely because Kyuhyun's ass looked so much better in those skin tight jeans), and his little crush wasn't so little anymore.

i'm not the type who dreams
there could be more with my crush.
i just let things flow smoothly.
do my own thing
and watch how my happy ending goes.
