I has no mithos/genis icons, so have a ditzy lloydotohsanMarch 29 2010, 01:38:08 UTC
1. When I started shipping them Shortly after Mithos appeared and it was like. YAY, WE CAN BE BEST FRIENDS. It got gay. Fast.
2. What I think their challenge is Mithos' ambitions. I do believe that he cared for Genis, it's just that... his sister, her supposed wish, derris-kharlan, all of that came first. He couldn't be with him because he just couldn't set those things aside. They kept him alive.
3. What makes me happy about them Their kinship. Even after 4000 years of living, I don't think Mithos once had a true friend he could strongly relate to. Neither had Genis in his 12. They understood each other and took care of each other.
4. What makes me sad about them They're doomed to fail. Mithos is only with the party to keep tabs on them and to guide them into curing and handing over Colette. He inevitably betrays Genis and even tries to kill him along with the party in the end.
5. What moment I wish had never happened Again, the scene where Mithos dismisses the suggestion that he can just stop what he's done and give up. I think he could have turned and enjoyed a new life with his friends.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other Mithos: Kratos Genis: ... uhhh... I kinda ship him with Lloyd, but not really? Ugh, so annoying.
7. My happily ever after for them There really isn't one to be had. Again, if I could change the ending of the game, I'd have Mithos turn over a new leaf and join Genis and Raine in their journey to end discrimination.
