I don't RP on LJ. Inksome and InsaneJournal are my homes.

Nope.

It depends on how I'm feeling. If I'm not completely blocked or tired, I definitely prefer prose. When I am feeling a little out of it, comment spam. I'd say all-in-all I lean toward prose; it's just got more substance, more emotion, more pretty boys getting punished.
What was the first character you ever played?
Hmm. Ash from Pokemon, I guess. Shut up, guys.
Who's your favorite character to play now and why?
Probably Zelos. He just... really clicks in my brain and is very easy to write.
What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
This is a really hard question. In terms of sheer longevity, it'd probably be Kirosaki. In terms of frequency and amount written... yeah, definitely Lloyd. (Hi, Rae.)

Shitty characterizations. Everything goes back to playing your character right, dammit.

Nope.
If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
Journal based. Easier to keep track of my own shit.
Would you rather play with someone who's very very ic but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always ic (but not terrible) and a great writer?
I'd rather play with the one that's currently working to improve their skills. If both are, then I'd rather play with the one who's very IC.

Nope.
In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
Prose samples. Mods never suggest a scene to play out. They just ask that you provide some prose. I've been denied because of my prose subject before. The mods basically told me they couldn't accurately judge my character through it. (Note: It wasn't some wildly crazy scene, either. I was later accepted to another game with the same sample.)
Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
Not really. I'll use pre-made layouts now, and change comment text, but other than that, no.
What was your first game?
I honestly can't remember the name of the first or second one. They were both GetBackers-centric, and were located on GJ. The third was _catchphrase_.

- Politics
It's going to sound really cheesy, but my interest in it is simple: politics help me enact change. I know our politic system is fucked up. There are a lot of things wrong with it--career politicians, two-party system, corruption, blah blah blah--but I tend to focus on the original American ideal. I think of the democracy we originally envisioned... the one where every vote, every opinion counted.
That's honestly why I get so hot-headed over it. I see it as a very big deal. To me, politics is about fighting for your freedoms. Universal healthcare, reducing homelessness and unemployment rates, federalizing same-sex marriage, making sure none of our minorities face discrimination... these are all things that politics affect. If we all speak out about it, and put our vote where our hearts are, we'll make a move toward a better future.
I understand that sounds very wishy-washy, dreamer type stuff... but it's not. Our government seems to be laying down on the job, yep, it's true. Federally, it has been for a long while. State-wise? No way. Here in MA, we've had same-sex marriage for four years. We're also pioneers in health-care; thanks to a revisioning of medicaid, I now have excellent health insurance.
My vote may not count for much, but... each of us, put together, standing up for what we believe in? That counts a lot. - Hope

Hope is, uh, difficult. I kinda straddle the uncomfortable fence between idealism and realism. I want to dream and think pleasant thoughts about the future, but people are slow to change and just all over awful 99% of the time. Haha. - CUTE BOY FACE
So everyone enjoys informing me that I have a cute face. I guess I'm sort of like the fat girl Steven King describes. You know, what a waste, she has a cute face, she'd be approachable if only she'd stop being such a whaaaaaale.

I thought Lloyd was ugly and boring when I first saw him. I started screaming, "I TAKE IT BACK. I TAKE IT BACK!!" after the first couple hours of the game. I will never judge a book by its weird-haired, suspendered cover again. Lloyd is the epitome of dorky cuteness.
Lloyd is the reason I hate the silent hero. I WANT HIM TO TALK MORE. He is fascinating. I mean, he's not the most complex character to ever be barfed onto the screen, but he is still awesome. Just think about it, guys. Half the qualities Lloyd has in the original game are usually attributed to the heroine. He's a champion of justice and love, 'kay? Brilliance.
If there's anyone I am guilty of having too much headcanon over, it's Lloyd. Two words: abandonment issues. GO AHEAD, FANDOM. DO WHAT YOU WILL WITH ME. I REFUSE TO BACK DOWN.
Also, Lloyd likes his swords. He wears them when he goes swimming for crissakes. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS KID. - Consideration
A certain someone once taught me about a thing called 50/50. Basically, in any relationship, be it platonic, romantic, whatever, you share the load. Being a considerate person is a requirement in my book. Sometimes, you have to put everything aside and just help others feel. It's the right thing to do.
I think I'm a fairly empathetic person. I try to open my eyes to everyone's feelings and accept them, even if they don't make sense to me. Years of having to deal with my hurt on my own has taught me that this is one of the most important things you could ever do for a person.
I have a hard time once in awhile. It's mostly because I have a deep feeling of helplessness if all I can do is listen. I'll do it, sure, but I'm more inclined to suggest solutions and things of that nature. This often pisses people off, even though my intention's to help.
