why do we rep so hard
man, i just love philly so much. and this weekend has been just one big philly love fest. things that contributed to the love:
-the fact that so many people who were from philly at live 8 were wearing philly gear.
-will smith. everything about his performance.
-nyle emerson telling the crowd to say "philly!...we're the best!"
-the way the 4th of july on the spring garden street bridge is just a huge block party with so much life.
-this weekend, it felt like the voices naysayers and cynical people were drowned out by positivity.
-being at a phillies games and hearing the cheers and the boos.
-rittenhouse on a sunday afternoon.
-getting to hear philly's name mentioned in the same sentence with berlin, tokyo, london, paris, etc.
yeah. so basically i had an awesome weekend. lee was here, which was great because i hadnt seen him in three weeks. on friday we hung out with people, on saturday live 8 with hannah, on sunday we went walking around town and then to a phillies game. it was such beautiful weather and i was just so happy the entire time. i hope i never forget that weekend...sigh.
well gee i guess i should go to work soon.
