♦ I am currently writing an essay on Buechner's Lenz and came across a passage where the schizophrenic protagonist gives a sermon then hallucinates God descending from the sky and making out with him. I had to reread it then find an English translation to confirm. I love this module.
♦ It is a beautiful day and I am glad to be alive. The university was gloriously busy and sunny and full of chatting students, and I got a lot of work done whilst still managing to realise that I really, really like being a student at Exeter. It escapes me sometimes.
