ok, so, my roommate didn't pay our cable bill for a while and our cable was shut off. we had no internet access for the past 3 days and i felt empty without my access. luckily, he payed the bill today and i feel full of life again...hehe. we don't have an actual phone line in the apartment because we all have cell phones, so i couldn't even connect the old fashioned way. i don't think i can ever do go back to a dial up connection.
