(no subject)
So, I worked a lunch shift Friday at work. I waited on 3 tables because it was so dead. Well, I worked Saturday and Sunday nights and was so busy. Between the 2 nights, I made about $150. I was so happy because I was so nervous that the restaurant was going to be slow for a while being that Christmas has passed. People have been tipping me better too! No cheap tips the past couple of days. There are always exceptions though and I knew about them ahead of time. I waited on this couple that left me $3 on a $30 bill. I remembered waiting on them before because he is very cute and she is so damn ugly! Being that I knew they would be cheap with my tip, I hardly waited on them. I made them wait for everything and then ugly decided she would study the check as though I added things that they didn't order. I watched her do this from afar and watched with a smile because she found nothing. It didn't bother me at all that they tipped me cheaply because I expected it so I didn't go out of my way to do anything special for them and refused to run my ass off for them.
My date friday night happended and went well. Needless to say, I'm not as horny as I was. YAY!!!
My roommates mother, Nancy, has been here in Texas visiting us. We went to the Southfork Ranch yesterday. When she mentioned she wanted to see Southfork Ranch, I was like "ummmm, what is that?" It was the ranch used in the 80's tv show Dallas, you know, the one with JR Ewing. It wasn't a bad tour. The ranch is very nice. The tour basically consisted of the "mansion" which was a 4 bedroom house that is not a mansion at all. If it wans't for Nancy coming here to visit, I don't think I would have found the things I now want to see in this area because we found all of these tourist brochures at her hotel. At first I was picking things out for her that she might be interested in, then was finding a bunch of things I want to see.
