Ok, for some reason, Russian-speaking people are adding me without telling me. I don't know why. Yeah, I am a member of a Russian community. I speak Russian. But why the hell are you going to add me when I do not know you, will never know you, and you never comment or message me? Ever since I've had an lj, random people friend me that I do not want

I don't think you should leave altogether as you seem to be benefiting from the posting you're doing, and, I don't want to see you go ! I read your posts regularly : )

I was going to say why not just look into who's adding you and see if they're friends-worthy, after all ? You could teach these Russians some English. Maybe they want to learn from you...but if they're 'bots', then you might as well do something...

...By 'something', I mean considering your privacy-options and just friends-lock your journal. Just look to all the comments your friends have left here and make the decision on your own.

It's your journal, but I like being open to foreigners at times (speaking of which, there's one young Asatru-lady I should introduce to you, via MySpace, you'll see: leja siv harjo is her profile-name) just as I have a Norwegian-friend on myspace and there were 2 (now only 1 left) Belarus-girls @ my workplace, so these blogging-sites have potential in bringing Yanks and foreigners together for the better. Still, I can understand your annoyance from these issues.
