For those that don't know, I'm obsessed with zombies. Not going into how badly it is, but everywhere I go, I think of a plan in case of a zombie outbreak. Let's just leave it at that for now ( Read more... )

Have you heard of Zombie Girl? Lots of stuff that could make your playlist on her "Blood, Brains and Rock 'N' Roll" album.

Zombina is pretty cool. I've seen Bella Morte, and I'm just not impressed with them. Maybe it was a bad night for them or something, but they looked like they were trying too hard. I'll give them another shot....

There's even this one Zombie-God or Zombie-entity in the EDDA, I think its the myth where/when HERMOD goes down to the underworld to try and meet with HEL, Goddess of Death...he has to go through this Zombie-Spirt first, MODGUD, a female-Skeleton before his entry into HEL's throne-room...and I'll be damned, I was listening to the MISFITS the night before last...(The reason why HERMOD wanted to meet with HEL was so he could try to compel her to let go of BALDER, the Asatru-God of Light/Sunshine ( ... )

Oh yeah, I know all about the trek of Hermod for Balder. I'm a heathen, remember? The Prose Edda is practically my lifeline! But there are other sagas that revolve around zombies. Pretty cool.

I'd love to see the Misfits. I had a friend that toured with 'em as a roadie when Mr Graves was the frontman (oh, the dirty, dirty things I could do to Michale Graves). Graves is currently in Australia. When he comes back to the US, I'm going to see him, no matter what the cost. And when my hubby comes back from Iraq, I'm dragging him to a show. He likes the Misfits, so he's gonna love Michale Graves solo.

Hi!
nice to read you LJ.
if i understood correctly, you are collecting songs about zombie.
http://dl.zvukoff.ru/ZVUKOFF/%C0%F0%E8%FF%20-%20%C7%EE%EC%E1%E8.mp3 - this is a link for an Ariya's song about zombie.
"Ariya" is a russian popular rock-group, if it's interesting ))
I hope you'll pleased!
