So, I have been on a cake-making spiel. I have found out how I can send homemade cakes to Joe, so I've been figuring out how to make all of these awesome cakes. Last night, I made Captain Morgan Rum Cake. Today, I'm making baked pineapple. I want to make 'em from scratch, too, because that will be phenomenal, and something else to keep me busy.

And for sending Joe the cake and keeping it shelf stable for months, you simply pour the prepared batter into a mason jar, bake, and viola! A jared caked. So you then can seal the mason jar a few ways, cap it, and turn it upside down the second it comes out of the oven. Or cap the jar, and put it upside down in a boiling pot of water for a few seconds. I'm excited. I get to send Joe his favorite cakes, and then some.
