So do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?"
or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we
wear?" For the pagans run after all these
things, and your heavenly Father knows that
you need them. But seek first his kingdom and
his righteousness, and all these things will be
given to you as well. Therefore do not worry
about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry
about itself. Each day has enough trouble of
its own.
-Matthew 6:31-34
ok so the weirdest thing i love random stuff... anyway the lady that works in the office gave me a gift that i just opened at like 1am and it is so perfect and unexpected... the book she gave me is entitled "9 Things Graduates Must Do to Succeed in Life" and wow i open it up and open right to one of those boxes in the middle of a page with a quote in it and it says "GOD PUTS PEOPLE IN OUR LIVES WHO SHOW US THE WAY." wow i was like WHOA this book is biblical and then i turn to another random page and find that verse and im like SCORE this is so my new book to read bc i finished the pinkish one and then im like oh man this verse is perfect i gotta put it in my lj but i kinda had trouble keeping it on one page and omg i look in the card and there is a super cool "courtney" bookmark.. i love that name stuff and anyway it says on it "Courtney, Discrete One, ...Render true judgements, show kindness and mercy each to his brother... Zechariah 7:9rsv" THIS IS SOOO COOL! and i got a cool like heavy beaded metallicy looking bracelet from my dads cousin oh man this is SWEET! ok im so ready to dig into this book but have tons to do tomorrow before i head to the red cross thing at deeps from 12-3.. PLEASE GIVE MONEY! its for the fam on clappboard ridge that lost their home to a fire and omg they have five kids and yo this is random but this was my fortune cookie fortune, "Meeting adversity well is the source of your strength." and one of my lucky numbers is on there... 4! and whoa heres a really coincidental chinese word which is why i first brought this up "Hai-zi" means children lol! ok so ill open to another random page and end for tonight... oh man i found it this is so my flaw: "Jesus said it best: 'Woe to you when all men speak well of you'(Luke 6:26). When all people speak well of you, it means that you are duplicitious[wth is that?] and a people-pleaser. You cannot speak the truth, live out good values, and choose your own direction without disappointing some people." "DO NOT TRY TO AVOID UPSETTING PEOPLE. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE UPSETTING THE RIGHT ONES." ~HASTA
