Blessed Easter to you, too. :)

I'm glad you enjoy your Easter eggs. I'll try to finish this particular story arc as soon as possible, then give the story some rest and write a little on my other unfinished tales.

It's so goddamn exciting here!!! Dude, this reads like a SGA episode, but with a higher shaggable(Ianto) quotient involved! Love how Ianto upholds Tosh's quiet genuis here.

Well, it *is* a SGA episode... sort of. It's a fairly AU version of "The Daedalus Variations", which I loved but was always angry why we haven't learned anything about the hostile aliens. So I just *had* to give a "convenient" answer, hehehe.

And Tosh rocks - we all know that, right?

And so right on to the next chapter - how lucky that you posted both this weekend, because leaving us hanging with just the title of the next chapter would've been beyond cruel! XD ( ... )

Well, when I posted the previous chapter yesterday, I didn't give the title of this one. It would have kinda killed the surprise.

I don't think that the alternate universe wasn't kind to Tosh. SHe got to be Atlantis' head scientist, after all, which is a lot better than rotting in the Hub, IMO. In fact, she got McKay's job in *several* alternate realities - just imagine work in Atlantis when she's the boss!

Yup, an Atlantis with Tosh as head of science must be a very fascinating place to work!

I meant the universe being not kind due to the way she died. Although of course, in canon her death wasn't any kinder.

Stop sending brand new plotbunnies my way! I've got too many unfinished projects already!

I like that you've changed the unnamed alien enemies that board the ship in the episode to Cybermen. It gives Ianto something to fall apart about, giving the others insight into him and links everything closer together.

That was the basic idea, yes. Besides, the baddies were really cool, it's a shame we never saw them again.
