For me, the highlight of this chapter was definitely Harper vs. the Wraith. I was certain that Harper's life would be over (despite you mentioning a happy end for Harper, but I just couldn't think of a way for him to be saved). And then it's the Magog larvae who save him! Well, they're probably also what attracted the Wraith to him in particular, but still. It hadn't occured to me at all that the Wraith might feed on the larvae and then my brain worked like crazy trying to figure out what this would mean for Harper. At first I thought: yay! The Wraith's going to save Harper, sucking the life out of the evil babies. But then the Wraith died, just like the Wraith feeding on Rev Bem. I guess Magog are the Wraith equivalent to your mum telling you, "if you eat warm bread, your tummy is going to hurt." Don't become greedy, little Wraith, you'll get much worse than tummy ache ( ... )

Actually, Harper vs Wraith was one of the first scenes I've written for this story. Dont worry about the Little Professor, though - he has the worse part behind him already. But the "kids" have caused a lot of nasty damage that Dr. Beckett needed to repair, and recovery will be a slow thing.

If Harper's larvae were allowed to hatch and prosper, leading to a Magog infestation of the Pegasus galaxy, it would be a Wraith nightmare. The Magog would snack on their feeding grounds, their population would grow... But the Wraith wouldn't be able to eat the Magog. It's strange, but it amuses me very much that the Wraith are kinda in the same boat as the humans now, concerning the Magog.

Talk about a nightmare scenario! Well, that won't happen in this particular story, but perhaps one day I'll write an alternate ending, just to use your excellent idea.

More Twagic Events(TM) in the next chapter.

I hope you'll like it. Next update won't be quite so quick, as I've run into a bit of a block. Too bad, I only planned two more chapters and an epilogue. *sigh*

BTW, who's that on your icon?
