Birthright series - Main index page
The Birthright series is an Andromeda AU, which is centered around the Nietzscheans, one of the major players of this universe, but also offers more than just fleeting cameos to the other interesting races, like the Perseids, the Castalians, the Than, the Makra and so forth. I also tried to use the off-hand references to places like Ornithrone or the Centauris A colony, to integrate them better into the Andromeda universe.
It's practically retelling the canon events, even using some of the original dialogue, but leads to a very different outcome. The main character of the entire series is Tyr Anasazi, but Höhne and other Perseids also have an important role. I must warn everyone, though: this is not a Dylan Hunt-friendly series - and that fact will have matching consequences.

Brithright 01 - The Assignment
How did Rannveig the Perseid got his dangerous assingment, i.e. retrieving the All Systems University Library? This is one possible answer. This story features Perseids, and Perseids only.

A different take on the 1st Season episode Music of a Distant Drum.
Birthright 04 - Hunter, Prey
Another Perseid-centered story. Rannveig's adventures while achieving the All Systems University Library and a different take on the finding of Hasturi's Book.
Birthright 05 - Behold the Beast
Tyr gets to scheme some more and takes another step towards becoming a major player in Nietzschean society. Farrendahl's secret agenda is revealed.
Birthright 06 - currently untitled
Tyr makes new alliances among alien races and comes to suspect the Pyrians of working with the Abyss. Basically, this story deals with the aftermath of the encounter with the Magog Worldship.
Birthright 07 - The Nietzschean Web
Tyr makes the first really big step towards uniting the Nietzschean Prides. He finds allies in the most unlikely places.
Birthright 08 - Home Soil
The uprising on Earth has a very different outcome, due to a most unexpected ally. Tyr finds new allies and a trace of Kodiak survivors, Harper gets rid of his larvae and gets the girl. The Kalderan situation is shown in more detail.
Birthright 09 - currently untitled
More trouble with the Kalderans, a reunion with Farrendahl, a different outcome for the High Guard Fleet trapped at Tartarus and a different encounter with the Genites.
Birthright 10 - currently untitled
A happy (?) reunion with Admiral Zhukov Pashtun and the spreading of Nietzschean influence across the three galaxies.
Birthright 11 - TUM Revisited
An alternate version of The Unconquerable Man.
Birthright 12 - currently untitled
An extension of the united Nietzschean Prides, a reunion with the Genites, and some of the Pyrian agendas are revealed. So are Trance's, partially.
Birthright 13 - The Ymirian Auroras
Tyr's long-lasting plans near fruition. Kodiak survivors are found. New alliances are forged.
Birthright 14 - Revelations
This is practically a rewrite of the Season 3 finale. While it starts out with canon events, it ends with Tyr revealing himself and his role as the new leader of the united Nietzschean Prides. The Birthright series ends here, but might eventually be continued with the tale of Tyr building his Nietzschean Empire and fighting the Magog.
