This is a shout out to all my RL friends!
I've got plans to see Corpse Bride some time in October, sneak in bags of Halloween candy, and mack on chocolate fingers and skull lollipops while giggling at the twisted weirdness that is Tim Burton's world. I'm thinking Wednesday the 19th or 26th at around 6 or 7pm. However, I'd like to get many of my coworkers to come, so I may just ask Melissa, who does scheduling, to see if she can work out a couple hours when everyone who wants to go can, and we'll work with that.
I've already got two friends who are game for this and if any of you could make it, I would be delighted to have you.
In other Halloween plans, I'd like to repeat the Halloween Eve (Sat 30th) barrel fire of last year, only with more food to roast on sticks, and more people. And maybe a second barrel fire, if I get enough people to come to keep an eye on that much fire. It might be Halloween Eve Eve (Fri. 29th).
AND The Rocky Horror Picture Show! I'm taking Brian along and he's going to get his Rocky Horror cheery popped! Not only that, but he hasn't seen the movie at all yet! Must have him watch before going. If any of you think you could make it, it will be a day or two or so before the big Pumpkin Day. I called the Boulder Theater yesterday to find out exactly when, but they have no set date yet. Arg! I'll call them again in a few days so I can request the right days off.
