Apparently that's the worst it gets around here.

Well, there have been quite a lot of very unpleasant curses. I suppose that could be one of them. I don't remember it, though, and I'm glad of that.

Seems like it'd be kind of hard to forget. You've been here a while, I take it?

Yes, I have, but I'm not quite sure how long I've been here, really.

Oh--have you been here long?

Too long, as far as I'm concerned.

Or about a day, by traditional measure.

But I wouldn't call that long at all.

It is when you have somewhere else to be.

Well, yes, I suppose that would be true.

My summer camp doesn't take lightly to escapees. Particularly not when they escape to other dimensions.

But I don't think anyone comes into the City willingly. Surely they'd be a little understanding of that. It's rather like you've been kidnapped.

So why hasn't anyone broken out yet?

Well, because they can't. I think we all would have by now, if we could.
