Presnensky Park

Mar 31, 2011 19:54

Not far from the metro station Krasnopresnenskaya and the Russian government building, there is a small and quiet children park. Main advantages of the park are its new reconstruction, modern children playgrounds, sports complex. Near the entrance to the park, there is a huge chess board with wooden chess pieces on the playground. According to what the director of the park says, now you can rent chess and checkers in the park, and chess players of the famous Moscow chess club, which is called "Presnya", will conduct chess plays for all comers. Also, there are many wooden sculptures of famous characters of Russian and foreign fairy tales,
which are especially interesting for children.

Other advantages of the park are security and a definite schedule of work. Both factors provide a quiet atmosphere for walks with children.

The photos were made in winter, but it's possible to enjoy the full beauty of the park in summer,
when the ground is covered with green grass and flowers.
