Black lake is a unique piece of wildlife in the center of Zelenograd, which is an industrial town in the Moscow region. Once you turn to the alley "Forest ponds", you leave all the city bustle behind and enter the kingdom of nature. Such a sharp change of the environment without heavy traffic is a shock at first. Despite the human interference in the enviroment of the place and active development of the peat Industry last century, the place hasn't lost its relict charm. Its variety and abundance of the flora and fauna, non-typical for such cities, fully approve it. Except the great amount of sometimes palm-size grasshoppers, frogs, dragonflies, voles and different birds, I was lucky to find a family of lizards.
There is no firm foothold on all the paths, and it is very interesting to walk on the surface of the bog. It is not dangerous, because a hard layer of turf easily withstands a person even of a heavy weight. At the same time, every step makes the ground move and brings you much excitement and thrilling feelings.
