ARgh. You made me realize that I had two ideas in the works for tattoos and never followed up on them! I only have one, my Maneki Neko on my back that says Eva in his coin (actually he says "E-ba," Japanese people don't have a "v" in their language, so...)
I want a Japanese fan on my lower back.
I want Kokeshi dolls, one for each member of our family, somewhere else, but I can't decide where to put them...
I had to Google Kokeshi dolls to see what you were talking about: Cute! Sort of like the Eastern European stacking dolls; I said EE because though I thought they were strictly Russian, I actually have some from Poland.
Yes, get tattooed soon; you must. Just run with it. I feel so good that I did it, and I'm not sure why. Partially, I feel liberated from the confines of not being able to do it because of cancer, immunosuppression, etc, but also I had been kicking around this particular idea for awhile. I am very pleased with myself, as most people are when they get a new tattoo!
This is the smallest tattoo I have gotten at one time in a very, very long time.
